At the end of March I visited the Institute in Mexico City with Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist David Newman and his wife Rhonda, an electrophysiology nurse, from Toronto. Dr Newman arranged for us to see the magnificent Diego Rivera murals regarding the history of cardiology, and cardiologist Maria del Carmen Lacy-Niebla pointed out all the details to us. Dr Newman and I were also especially interested in meeting the prominent cardiologist/electrophysiologist Dr Manlio Marquez who gave us a tour of the institute, showed us the electrophysiology areas and discussed a clinical case with Dr Newman.
